Mayan Caribbean Vibes
The brother country of Belize is a beautiful, small and Caribbean country. Full of jungles, forests, mangroves, natural reserves and holder of the second largest barrier reef in the world (World Heritage) after that of Australia. Definitely a country for lovers of diving and snorkeling and for us definitely stand out:
Also known as Puerto Valiz, it is the largest city in this country and its former capital until 1970 when it was moved to Belmopan. The city is located at the mouth of the Belize River and is a port city on the Caribbean Coasts; besides being the industrial and financial axis of the country. And the brotherhood that is with Chetumal (Mexico) is very common because of its closeness between the two countries.
An archaeological site cataloged as a high level commercial center and located very close to Belize city. Its inhabitants dedicated themselves totally to the commerce crossing the Belize River with the purpose of making commercial agreements with other minor Mayan sites of the surroundings. In addition he also had religious activity counting on Temples and Palaces.
San Ignacio &
San Ignacio is only 15 klmts from the border with Guatemala, it is the heart and soul of the Cayo District and one of the most entertaining and touristic places in Belize. Used as a base to visit the beautiful places in its surroundings; standing out the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve, canoeing along the Macal River and visiting archaeological sites such as Kahal Pech. A ceremonial and commercial center where new ceramic techniques were developed and which has 7 temples; measuring its highest 24 meters.
It is a small island to relax in the waters of the Atlantic and various activities such as excursions to the Hol Chan Marine Reserve to enjoy the marine show where we will be surrounded by dozens of sharks, rays, sea turtles, & more.
